My Journal - With Love!

God has revealed many things to me in the past few years and now I'm going to share those visions, dreams and revelations to you!  I know that you will be blessed by them as I was blessed by them.  By the revelations given to me by Daddy, Our Father in Heaven, my life has changed All For His Glory.

A Revelation From God To Me

To You From Me With LOVE!

OFFENSE

Offense:  Something that outrages the senses, attack, assault, displeasure, sin, misdeed.

Offend:  Sin, transgress 2. to cause discomfort or pain; hurt 3. to cause dislike or vexation: annoy affront, insult, outrage

Offensive:  Aggressive, obnoxious, insulting.

In the month of December 2002 a friend of mine had asked me if I would join him in fasting and praying for the health of this father who is dying a slow death.  Of course I accepted the invitation.  We agreed to fast the following day.

In the middle of the night I was awaken by the Holy Spirit and immediately come to attention.  The Holy Spirit asked me a question that has changed my life and healed my heart of offense.  The question was, How can you serve me full heartedly with offense in your heart?  Just like anyone else, I asked, what offense, Lord?  The Holy Spirit continued to minister to me what offense does to a person.  This is what was said, when you have offense it stops you from moving on with the Lord, it stops you from going to church. It hinders your work life, it hinders anything that you want to accomplish like your concentration at school, weight loss and most importantly serving the Lord.  It’s a nasty sin that can stop you from pursing the ministry that God has called you into.  Offense is a hidden sin that only comes to light through Jesus.  Then James 4:15-16 came to my remembrance.

15.And the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven 16.  Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

I sat on my bed in amazement and asked myself these 2 questions.  How can I pray effectively with offense in my heart?  I can’t.  How can I serve effectively with offense in my heart?  I can’t.  I knew what I had to do next.  I got on my knees and asked the Lord to forgive me having offense in my heart and to reveal to me who I had offense towards so I could be healed so that I may have an effective prayer life and so that my heart be made clean.  After praying the prayer the Lord showed me who I had offense against amd even though I was surprised I admitted immediately and at that time I left the burden of offensive lifted from my heart.  So many of us have offenses in our heart that we know about and don’t know about which is called a deep-rooted offense.  We must understand that a human being planted the offense seed.  Most likely by someone we know and other times someone we meet in passing.  Whatever the case may be I encourage you to ask the Lord to reveal to you your offenses so that you may be effective Spiritually as well as in all areas of our life.  Don’t let offense stop you from moving ahead.  Open your heart and let God take over.  I will admit that sometimes its not easy for us to look at the mess we are in but when we willingly accept our faults then we will be healed.  To start your healing of the heart process say this prayer and you will see a result but remember you must be willing.

Father In The Name Of Jesus, forgive me of all sin I have committed knowingly and unknowingly and I ask you to reveal to me any offenses that I am holding in my heart.  I want to be an effective servant for you, Lord.  I love You, Lord and I thank you.  Amen.
